I’m love photography but am a amateur! I wanted to upgrade from my iPhone and begin to learn more about photography. The Rebel T6 has been perfect for that. I’ve had this camera for about 5 months and took it on an Alaskan cruise. I shot a lot on auto but also shot a lot manually so that I can begin to capture the looks that I want! I have a ways to go but the Rebel has been perfect in helping me get there. Start small, pace yourself and learn the camera inside and out! Don’t be in a rush to spend thousands of dollars on equipment if you’re not armed and ready to use it. I’m still learning all of what the Rebel can do. I’m having a great time in the process.

I am brand new to the DSLR game so my review does not have any technical information. I bought this camera to capture my sons growth and memories. It has way more to offer than my iPhone - which doubles as a remote since the camera can connect via WiFi. This means I can be in the picture!!! I love taking pictures and have an eye for great angles and lighting. This camera is perfect for beginners at an affordable price! I am loving getting to know this camera.

I bought this on sale, it is my first digital SLR but not my first Canon. I was not disappointed at all, both lenses work great and I've gotten excellent pictures with this set, beats my Samsung Galaxy hands down. Definitely worth the money.

This camera is so easy to use, people have been amazed at the picture quality. I love the WiFi feature, I can load pictures directly into my iPhone. I can also use my phone to control the camera. I can’t wait to take one of the beginner courses that they offer at BestBuy.

When I seen this camera I immediately wanted it. I searched around other websites to see if it was the best camera for me. I initially made my purchase from amazon. I cancelled it on cyber Monday and ordered the exact same one from Best buy for pickup that day. The size of the camera is easy to manage and not too heavy to carry around your neck. In auto mode you can take amazing pictures. Other mode features are great too but for me as a beginner I have not took to many in those modes. I recommend this camera to anyone.

I’ve got to say, I love this camera. I’ve been taking really great pictures, I’ve got really good pictures of my brother and my trip to Greece. It is fairly light. I did get some scratches on the body, but it’s totally normal with travel and use. Everyone I’ve shown pictures to has commented on the great quality. It’s easy to change out the lens. I haven’t gotten much use out of the 75-300mm lens because of the settings I’m in but I did try it out for a few pictures. I would recommend using a tripod with that lens if you’ve got shaky hands like me. All together it’s a great camera for travel and if you’re new to photography.

I was looking for a fast automatic SLR, and got it, but I also got a camera that allows me to get shots impossible to get with auto features. Battery life is great, and downloading pictures is simple and fast. Image quality is superb.

Won't be able to find a better camera with the accessories included at this price point. Bought it so that I could take newborn photos versus paying someone the same price. Was able to take professional looking photos and have the camera now as little guy grows up. Attached a quick, simple photo of our cat so you can see the quality.

I love the affordability, and the wonderful quality of this camera. If you are looking into canon and aren’t sure about photography wait to get an I series or better. These are much much cheaper and they are only missing a few features. The quality of the photo is pretty much identical

This is my first DSLR, and not having used other SLR cameras, I can only say my experience as a novice has been mostly positive. I have had this Camera for 3 months, and I really enjoy using it. Pros: A very nice camera with full functionality, many camera modes, and full manual control- Including AV, TV modes. Fairly straightforward buttons and features that are in the places you'd expect and are convenient for quickly changing shutter speed, ISO, etc. (But takes some getting used to for a new user). NFC and WIFI connectivity for smartphones (with an downloadable APP). The Camera comes with two lenses (18-55mm and 75-300mm) that are pretty good quality and allow a range of options. (Not as great in terms of quality as a prime lens, but still good quality for the price.) The price for this kit is really good considering all that you get with it. (the camera body, two lenses, camera strap and carrying case). The photo quality is good, and it takes nice photos under a variety of settings and conditions. Cons: High ISO noise (above ISO 800 during day and over 1600 at night). This isn't a great camera for night photography/ astrophotography, but it does an okay job.( It often requires post-processing for night photography.) At 18MP, you do lose some quality over higher MP cameras. As an entry level camera though, the Rebel T6 still takes quality photos. Some challenges with taking photos using "LiveView" with Auto Modes (It's tricky to get the correct settings in place to allow it to focus and take photos in LiveView). The battery does drain pretty quickly if you're taking many photos, so a spare is a necessity. NFC connectivity is hit or miss, and it can be frustrating. It has an APS-C Sensor with a 1.6X crop factor, so your lenses are not going to achieve wide-angle without a wide angle attachment (which reduces quality). This can be a bit of a challenge for landscape photography. So if you're wanting wide-angle photos, you may want to consider a full frame camera, but that also comes with a higher price tag. Overall, I wouldn't trade this camera, despite some of it's drawbacks for astrophotography and wide-angle limitations for landscapes and some minor frustrations with NFC. It's convenient, it has decent lenses, it takes good photos, and you can't beat the price for a Canon. If they fixed some of the ISO Noise, NFC and LiveView issues, I'd give this 5 stars.

If you're looking for a starter DSLR camera this is a good one. Simple, but good enough to take pictures especially from a distance. I primarily got this for my child's graduation, I refuse to have pictures taken with an IPhone especially for an event like this. You can't really have memorable pictures from a distance with phone cameras. They are only good for close proximity pictures but from a distance you will need some kind of DSLR to be able to zoom in. The question you need to ask yourself before buying it is how often will you use it. Are you willing to spend $400+ for something you're going to use sparingly? I haven't used mine in weeks... that's where the Iphone beats DSLR- the Iphone is always ready to shoot and it fits in your pocket.

This camera is great for people who want to start photography. It has an easy to understand handbook and it is a very simple to use. It is a camera that is great for pet photography and nature photography. I have done photoshoots of my friends as well and they absolutely fell in love with the photos. I have received many compliments regarding the quality of my photos! And editing is a big helper to show your unique style through photography so don't always rely solely on the camera itself.

I have been really enjoying this camera so far. Much better than the camera on my 2 year old smart phone, and I was happy to see there are both a macro setting and a food setting, which are not listed in the description. I also love being able to wireless connect to my camera with my phone to be able to share my photos with friends. I have been wanting a DSLR for a long time and this is my first one. With social distancing, I am very glad to have this to take pictures of backyard birds, my kids, and the recipes I have been trying out. I can't wait for the zoo to reopen so I can get some great shots of the animals there. *I am having a little bit of issues with the 75-300mm lens focusing and it is telling me it isn't connecting with the contacts on the lens mount and that they need to be cleaned, but I am not seeing any debris on the contacts. I might be doing something wrong though on my end. I am going to check into the troubleshooting in the user manual to make sure.

Lighter weight, easy to use, 55-300 lens is great to use for just about anything!

I was looking to venture into photography and was looking for an easy to use DSLR camera and this one is perfect. Put it in automatic mode and shoot away. I will be trying some manual setting as I get more familiar with the camera. I got the bundle with the longer lens. Great deal

Wow. This camera is so incredibly easy to use. I was shocked at how easy the manual was to understand. We took this camera to a beach in seattle and photographed the waterfront. The pictures came out absolutely stunning! Great camera for someone looking to dive into photography.

My son is 10 years old with interest on colors an pics with phone. I saw his interest and surprised him with this camera which reviews said great for starters. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. He is learning to use it not just on auto but manual. He’ll be a pro soon.

I am obsessed with my camera. It takes amazing indoor and outdoor photos and is so user friendly. It’s been a blast learning the capabilities of this thing. I typically find myself utilizing the lense that came with the camera and it shoots like a charm!

My son is a beginner but this camera is so easy to use he seems like a pro!
