  • General
    • Brand: Canon
    • Model Number: 1159C008
    • Product Name: EOS Rebel T6 DSLR Two Lens Kit with EF-S 18-55mm IS II and EF 75-300mm III lens
    • Color: Black
    • Product Set: w/ 18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses
    • Camera Model Family: Canon Rebel T6i
    • Digital Camera Type: DSLR Camera with Lens
  • Imaging
    • Image Sensor Type: CMOS (CCD and CMOS are the two main technologies used in image sensors. CCD, the older of the two types, turns analog light signals into digital pixels. This conversion happens without distortion, resulting in high-quality images. Newer CMOS sensors use transistors at each pixel to move electrical charges. CMOS sensors are typically less expensive, but also require more light to create distortion-free images.)
    • Image Sensor Size: 35mm Full Frame (36 x 24 mm)
    • Digital Zoom: None (A digital zoom is accomplished electronically, with no adjustment of the camera's optics, and no optical resolution gained in the process. The existing data is not enhanced or added to, merely displayed at a lower resolution, thereby giving an illusion of an enlarged image.)
  • Focus
    • Autofocus: true (Allows the camera to automatically focus through the lens, rather than by adjusting the lens manually.)
    • Eye Autofocus (Eye AF): false (Automatically seeks out and focuses on the subject's eye and holds it as the camera and subject move and as the photographer shoots at high frame rates.)
  • Exposure Control
    • Shutter Speeds: n/a (The length of time the shutter remains open when the shutter release is activated, expressed in fractions of seconds. The longer the shutter is open, the more light that is able to be captured by the camera sensor.)
    • Minimum Aperture: f/3.5 (The smallest opening of a lens, typically expressed in f-numbers. The larger the number, the smaller the aperture and the less light that can enter the lens. A smaller aperture creates a larger depth of field, which keeps both foreground and background in focus.)
    • Maximum Aperture: f/5.6 (The limit to how wide a lens can be open, typically expressed in f-numbers. The smaller the number, the larger the aperture and the more light that can enter the lens. A larger aperture creates a shallower depth of field, helpful for keeping subjects in focus and blurring background details.)
    • Minimum ISO: 100 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. When there is plenty of light, using the lowest ISO setting available will typically result in a higher quality image.)
    • Maximum ISO: 12800 (ISO is the measurement of a camera image sensor's light sensitivity. In low-light environments, using a higher ISO setting helps to capture a sharp, bright image.)
    • Brightness Control: true (Allows the camera to adjust the brightness of a captured image for optimal exposure.)
    • Burst Mode: true (Also referred to as continuous shooting. This feature captures multiple shots in rapid succession.)
    • Self Timer: true
    • Self-Timer Delay: 10 seconds
    • Shooting Modes: Intelligent Auto (Exposure modes employed by the photographer to control the optimal aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and other settings for capturing specific subjects/scenes. Examples include Aperture-Priority, Macro, and Manual modes.)
    • Panorama Mode: true
    • Scene Modes: Intelligent Auto (Exposure modes with predetermined optimal settings for capturing specific scenes. Examples include Landcape, Portrait, and Sports modes.)
    • White Balance Modes: Auto (Settings that calibrates how the color white is rendered in an image/video, reducing the appearance of unnatural contrasts caused by various light sources.)
    • Effective Pixels: 18 megapixels (The actual number of pixels which make up the viewable image.)
  • Lens
    • Lens Mount Compatibility: Canon EF, Canon EF-S
    • Lens Type: Standard Zoom
    • Minimum Focal Length: 18 millimeters (The minimum distance between the lens and the image sensor that allows the subject to be in focus. The shorter the focal length, the greater the area of scene captured.)
    • Maximum Focal Length: 55 millimeters (The maximum distance between the lens and the image sensor that allows the subject to be in focus. The greater the focal length, the smaller the area of scene captured.)
    • In-Lens Image Stabilization: true (This feature helps reduce image blurring from camera motion. Lens stabilization means an element within the lens moves automatically to counteract detected motion.)
    • Lens Series: Canon EF-S (The product group that the lens belongs to, based on similar shared features.)
    • Lens Model Number: EF-S 18-55mm IS
  • Lens 2
    • Lens 2 Type: Telephoto Zoom
    • Lens 2 Minimum Aperture: f/0
    • Lens 2 Maximum Aperture: f/0
    • Lens 2 Minimum Focal Length: 75 millimeters
    • Lens 2 Maximum Focal Length: 300 millimeters

    • Lens 2 Model Number: EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM
  • Flash
    • Integrated Flash: true
    • External Flash Mount: None (A cold shoe is a mounting point on top of a camera to securely attach a flash unit or other compatible accessories. A hot shoe is a cold shoe with an electrical connection that insures communication and synchronization between camera and accessory.)
  • Display
    • Display Type: LCD
    • Screen Size: 3 inches (Size of the screen, measured diagonally from corner to corner.)
    • Viewfinder Type: Optical (A viewfinder is the part of a camera (or attachment) that allows you to see and focus a scene in frame. Optical viewfinders let you view the scene directly through the lens. Electronic viewfinders display the image on a screen in its approximate final form.)
    • Touch Screen: false (Touch-screen devices make navigating more intuitive. Using a touch-screen display, you can do things such as tap to select, hold and drag to move items, swipe to scroll, and pinch to zoom.)
  • Video
    • Standardized Video Resolution: 4K (2160p) (An approximated measurement of the product’s video resolution. This may not be the exact resolution of the product, which may be slightly more or less when using a pixel-by-pixel measurement.)
    • HDR Mode: false (HDR Mode uses multiple photos taken at different exposures to add more dynamic range to photographs. HDR technology displays content with greater contrast between bright and dark, resulting in clearer and more lifelike images.)
    • Slow Motion Recording: false

Q: Does this Camera have the focus to make the background blurry?

A: This camera has Auto and Manual focus on both its lenses. The setting to make the background blurry is called an aperture setting. If you have the camera set up on the"Av" setting, it will focus more on the subject that's close and blur out the background. The farther the background, the blurrier it gets. This feature is also available in the "Portrait" setting but depending on the lighting the camera will automatically use the flash and pictures don't come out as good.

Q: Can I pay mothly

A: I think Best Buy has a strict no-moth policy

Q: Does this camera's wifi work with iPhones?

A: Yes. You have to download the Canon connect app on your iPhone. You can save up to 3 WiFi network info on the camera.

Q: hello does this camera take good night photos? or places that are dimly lit? im traveling next summer and visiting enclosed spaces with little light.

A: This camera will be great in low light situations but you will also need a fast lens to take good low light photos especially if your subject is in motion. If you're considering a new lense, i suggest you get one with a low F number. F number refers to the lense's maximum apperture width. The lower the number, the better. They also command a higher price compared to lenses with high F numbers. F2.8 is my starting F number. Anything higher than that, you'll have to crank up your ISO to compensate for the higher F number (in low light situations) which may result in image noise (grainy pixels) on your photos. I hope this helps.

Q: Does it include a memory card?

A: No. You have to buy that separately I'm using a 32 Gig memory card that will take about 3600 pics in the highest resolution..

Q: Does this camera have a built-in flash?

A: Yes, this camera has an integrated flash.

Q: Is this a good camera for a 14 yr old who is very interested in photography?

A: Yes, many things you can do with the camera and also good for raw pictures. Good start up camera.
