• The sound quality is passable, but if you want high fidelity sound you may want to invest in an external microphone. Like all surface microphones, this one picks up sound from camera handling, wind and so forth and its non directional - not bad for home videos and family stuff, but I'd want a better mic for concerts or professional use.
