how long a charge does battery have null

I cannot tell you how long but I can tell you that while on vacation I would start my day at 7-8 8 am and not finish till 8-9 at night. During a 5 day trip I took over 1100 pictures and some videos and not one day did my battery ever run down. There was one day that I forgot to charge the battery and I still did not have a problem the next day.
