- Answer The camera itself does not have image stabilization, but the lens’s have it. Yes there is a timer option on the camera. I think it’s 3,5, and 10 sec. I could be wrong about the 10sec.

Questiondoes the camara have an eye piece you can look through . other than just looking at the screen ? as sometimes with the sun you cant see the screen very well , hard to find camaras with eye pieces anymore or with both , thanks jodie

- Answer Hi Jodie,Yes this camera does have the eyepiece or the screen! That was the main reason for my purchase.I am kind of an old schooler,I love all the new tech stuff but some things like you say are not good like shooting in the sun. It is a great camera I love it,so much so I purchased a second one for backup.Hope I have answered your questions,Netta
