“Can this the Rebel T 7 use the same lenses as earlier version Rebel T 1. I want to upgrade my camera but wanted to know if it was necessary purchase new lenses.”

I had the same concern. My previous Rebel was the EOS Rebel XTi. All of my lenses work with the XT7. I bought mine in store and took one of my lenses with me to make sure it would work. Hope this helps
