FYI-It's a firm ware problem. Firmware's are generally a type of software used to control hardware devices like your printer. Firmware is low-level software that stands between the hardware and the operating system. Firmware can be removed from a printer and is done to rewrite or recode a printer at the factory. Firmware gives the printer instructions. Try using the printer as many times as possible even if the printer is telling you the cartridges are out of ink. It's very possible they're not because of how the firmware was coded at factory. Depending on new printers and user knowledge you may be able to download the latest firmware update file for your printer model from the manufacturer's website.

The cartridge is absolutely not empty. Simply ignore the status bar until you start getting streaks on your print copies--this is the actual time that the ink is finishing. After printing about 25 pages, the status bar showed that the ink was empty for me; however, I was able to print over 200 pages afterward. I don't know if this is a hardware problem or something else.
