You can still use the printer cable no problem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is the replacement for the iP100 printer. The unit still has a port for standard USB printer cable, but you can use the wireless feature as well. Connecting wirelessly would depend on the age and features of your Dell.

To know if it will work on your current computer you need to know your operating system first such as what version of windows you have, then you have to go to canon website and see if the driver for this specific printer is available for you operating system in which it should be, other than that, buy the printer, put the disk in the computer, run the automatic set up, and see if it works or get someone to help you. If not you can always return it.
