Canon offers other printers that conform to the standard multi-function printer that is seems you are seeking. I happily traded away the document feed function (I have an HP for that) to get the photo printing quality this unit offers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Why ask a question if you already know the answer? This printer excels at photo prints, and is aimed more towards that than office work. Plenty of other printers are horrendous for photos, but do support duplexing, document feed-trays, etc...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I rely heavily on duplexing, but what I need is exact evenness. I make bookmarks with photos so they have to line up perfectly. I use cardstock as well. The thing I love about this manual duplexing is when you flip it it will pull the paper down a little bit and then pull it back up to make sure the adjustment is even and then pull it down to print. I've had many different brands of printers and that's the first time I've seen that happen with a manual duplexing. For me in the long run I've always ended up using my duplexing manually it always came out better than when it was automatic but I like I said I needed it to be perfectly aligned.
