I printed photos directly after installing this printer and they were terrible, washed out and honestly, enough I was going to return it. I was so disappointed and I watched several videos online showing how to mess with the Canon settings and printed nearly 50 test prints on a variety of paper sources from Acrobat and Windows Photos. Until finally I watched one reviewer state to use professional software like Lightroom with the Canon ICC profile and good quality photo paper and the change in quality was astonishing. The photos went from a washed out mess to a professional quality shot that I would be happy to frame. I am very impressed with the print quality when connecting with professional software. I am keeping this printer because the cost per print is exceptional, and the photo quality is gallery ready, as long as you use third party software and good quality paper (mine was glossy, but not Canon paper as it was leftover from my previous printer).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pretty good for a printer in this price range. It was better than my previous Epson. And I did not have to artifically brighten my prints in Lightroom CC or Photoshop to get the correct exposure when printing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had it long enough to do comparisons, but the photos seem to look ok. Probably not a printer a professional photographer would use, but the average user would find acceptable. I plan on printing some out to compare with my old canon printer if I can get it to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good quality
