I get the ink from Amazon.com, just input the printer information make model and view the results, most of the offers on Amazon are packs of ink with all 4 colors for the printer and very inexpensive...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The printer comes with 2 large black ink bottles and one blue one magenta and one yellow bottle. The exact type of ink is listed in the box contents

Please try again later.Canon ink the part numbers are in the manual and on the side of the bottle, It comes in a bottle that mates to a connector covered by a flap on top of the tank for all 4 colors. You unscrew the cap, for the correct color bottle, remove the tank top cover and color flap, mate it to the connector and either squeeze the bottle slightly or let it use gravity pull the ink in. You can see the ink rising in the device. Once it reaches the top line on the tank you remove the bottle and secure the top of the tank and the bottle top. Done. It was really easy and came with an extra black bottle!
