A:AnswerIt depends on your OS. This does NOT support (i.e., there's no drivers to install your printer) anything over 11.0. The current OS for Mac is Sonoma and I had to return the printer because they do not support any recent versions of their OS...and don't bother mentioning these details in the product listing.
A:AnswerYes, there are two toner cartridges. They are both canon products, and are "cl-241" color cartridge and "pg-240" for the black ink cartridge. Mine last for a long time, because I only print what I have to print. Otherwise, I save in files on my computer. Usually, when you print and one or both cartridges are getting low, a message will come up showing the level. I don't change one or the other until my printing get spotty printing. If you get desperate, take out the cartridge and bang it on a hard surface and sometimes it will allow you to print a little more until you replace.

A:AnswerThe minimum requirements in the printer description specifications do mention Vista as a compatible Operating System:
"Minimum System Requirements PC: Windows XP SP3 (32-bit), Vista SP1 or SP2, 7, 7 SP1, 8 or 8.1; Mac: OS X v10.7.5 - 10.1"
A:AnswerIt uses two cartridges only. One black and one multi colored.
It does not have the individual separate colored ones like my last Brother printer had me buy 4 different cartridges. This printer surpasses what the last one did in quality.
