• Yes, it works as a stand-alone copier. I bought one for use in a house that has no internet, wi-fi, cable or other electronic connections. We plugged it in, set it up, and it works perfectly as a copy machine. The ink cartridges cost more than the machine, it copies slowly, but other than that, it works with no complaints.
