You have to unplug it, turn it on its right side, and pull out the roller cartridge from the back. If you are lucky, that bit of paper will be right there. If it’s not, open up the front, including where the cartridges are, and look for the scrap there. I recommend s flashlight and tweezers or needle nose pliers.
