• The manual says; "The duplex original cannot be scanned automatically by ADF."

• I would think it would scan only one side at a time since if you would FAX you can only use one side to FAX. As far as DUPLEX PRINTING If you read under the PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS it indicates that this IS a DUPLEX PRINTER.
