Yes you can. While installing, you will be asked if you want the printer to be tied to any device (s). What I did with mine is I said No. I just want to use it for printer and copier. For printing, after getting your printer to link with your WiFi at home, go to your laptop or computer and search for your new printer when you are ready to print. I can print from my laptop, phone and tablet easily. It is a really nice machine. I had a version before this and it broke after five years of reliable service. Setting up is easier than my last one. It comes with good instructions.
