Yes, as long as the printer is connected to your home network, and that network can reach the internet, you can print wirelessly. The speed of the "message" getting to the printer will depend on whether the connection is exclusively inside your network (such as your computer to the printer), or from outside your network (your mobile phone connected to cellular, which then has to connect to your home network to get to the printer). Obviously, if the connection has to go out to the internet, it will be a bit slower, but it will work.

Printing wirelessly to a printer is dependent on your internal WiFi setup and not the connection to the internet. You can also direct print wirelessly with bluetooth and direct from a phone or tablet. Cloud printing would be affected by your satellite internet.

If you have a home wireless network and connect the printer to that, your type of internet service and internet speed won't be a factor. The speed at which your device/computer sends a file to the printer to be printed would depend on your local network speed and not Internet speed. You might need to use your internet connection to download the iOS app from the Apple app store or Mac OS printer software from Canon's website if you are going to be using either of those. In short, the answer to your first question is yes. The answer to the second is that you should be able to use all the features regardless of the speed of your internet connection.

Yes. Printer operates on 2.4ghz wireless network does not need high speed internet but just might be a little slower processing data. Also can pair easily with Apple and Android smart phones.

The speed of your external connection to the world (satellite internet) does not effect the speed of your internal local area network (LAN). That depends on your router. This connects to the LAN via WIFI and that's how you print from it. So yes, you can still print wirelessly. No effect at all.
