This fits that bill to a tee! Sony’s new hot shoe has all the hookups for WiFi control for speedlights and a mic, without the standard audio plug dangling all over. Sony makes a great stereo mic I bought to go with it. More for getting a focused stereo sound with much background faded out. The mic on the camera works great however. Very sensitive. Just depends on what sounds you are recording. Because of this setup, there is no 3.5mm audio plug.
