No, this is an RF mount lens, for their mirrorless bodies. You need an EF-mount lens for DSLRs. Image quality is pretty consistent across the range of the lens, so it doesn't "lose qaulity" but it's nowhere near an L-series, constant aperture lens. It's a good consumer lens, though.
