Yes, the plug has a fuse inside.

I did not check to see if it has a fuse however I’m positive that it is. The fuse it likely located in the part you plug into the cigarette lighter plug in the car. Hope this helps.Also the cigarette lighter in the car is fuse protected so you are covered either way!
