Q: QuestionDoes this adapter stop drawing power from the battery when the vehicle is off. I currently have a vehicle camera that plugs into the lighter outlet, but it constantly draws power while the vehicle is off, and will kill the battery if vehicle not in use.

• A:Answer The adhesive on the pads was not adequate to support the device. So, I wedged it between the seat and the console between the front bucket seats. I am happy with it. My seats are heated. I don’t see a connection between the heated seats and the charger.

• A:Answer It should work fine on a ‘10 Civic. It works well with my ‘04 Civic, and I can’t imagine too much changed in the Civic between those years (especially regarding the electrical in the lighter ports)
