“Does this adapter stop drawing power from the battery when the vehicle is off. I currently have a vehicle camera that plugs into the lighter outlet, but it constantly draws power while the vehicle is off, and will kill the battery if vehicle not in use.”

• If there is constant power to your socket the unit will continue to draw power. There is no on/off switch on the unit.
