“I purchased this adapter for my radar detector but it disconnects it constantly. It’s like a loose wire or something as it feels tightly inserted. It defeats the purpose as I am constantly driving with the detector disconnected. Is this a defect.”

It does that to mine too make sure all the way plugged in
