The specifications say it is a 3G phone, so no it will not work with a 4G network. Someone asked, 2 years ago, if it works with Verizon and the answer was "yes". Having said that, I think Verizon has, since that time, started blocking phones that they don't sell themselves (which IMHO, ought to be illegal). If you look at unlocked phones on Amazon and you see a lot of user comments about phones that the vendor claimed worked with Verizon, however, someone bought it and found out it didn't work (often times the seller asks them to contact them so they can walk them through how to make it work, so I suspect they are doing something to masquerade as a supported phone). Unfortunately Best Buy themselves does not monitor these Q&A things and do the research for you and give you an answer - you'll only get answers from other users, and frankly, this particular question can only be answered by someone who actually has one. I'm shopping for a new phone myself, so I can't answer you. Sorry, I could only answer the 4G part..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To add to my previous answer:. I forgot to mention that my account is not business, just personal. Also this is my second of CAT S48c I've had on Verizon. Both with no problem. I think that if the phone is unlocked, the network info can be determined by looking at the network bands it lists and compare them with your carrier and what is in your area to see if you would get signal too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I currently (as of July 2022) have a Cat S48c and it is active and working on Verizon's 4g lte plan. I don't know if all of them work on Verizon. Been told that they have to state that they are for Verizon network or state unlocked Verizon. Like the ones that were locked to sprint until it was paid for, after that it becomes unlocked, but doesn't have the guts to work on cdma, only on other gsm networks. I'm likly wrong on some of this, but it is my understanding of it all.
