The DX102AZ refractor is very robust at maintaing collimation while traveling and is a food choice for a telescope to be moved to dark sites The Celestron 40-inch telescope carrying case id great to transport it by car, but I would be reluctant to let airline baggage handle it. https://www.celestron.com/products/40in-telescope-soft-case
