“Can the exterior ring only be turned off by whoever set up our ring 2 video doorbell? Anytime my kids run up to the front door it activates the outdoor chime. I've looked through my app-nothing, my husb is who set everything up initially.”

In the ring app, you can set how your system works when you select disarm. On mine, when we go outside to work around the house or when family is over, we just disarm ours and the motion alerts are all turned off till we rearm it in the app.
