Professional installation is not required for the SC 220C, as it’s designed for straightforward setup with the included 12V accessory cable that plugs into your vehicles cigarette-lighter style port. However, we do recommend professional installation if you choose to hardwire the camera which wires your dash cam directly into the vehicle’s fuse box for a versatile installation.
