I can use my key fob to start my car if need be. Press the lock button 4 times and it should start if it is installed properly.

No, you have to use the included fob they provide. Or you can buy a Drone for $199 and have it installed at the same time which will give you the ability to start your car with your cell phone from anywhere. That is nice if you are in a restaurant or at work and want to start your car from the office so it’s nice and cool or warm by the time you walk to your car which is kind of the point for me. Add the Drone and you won’t need to worry about extra fobs and range won’t be an issue either.
