QuestionI am looking to have this unit installed on my 2011 Ford Fusion Sport. Can this system be programmed to work with the factory Ford key/fob such as 3x lock button?

- Answer Hi sjk1998 , I just had two of these installed in different vehicles. Both were programmed to use the factory key keys to start the vehicle. Additionally you can use the key fob that comes with the remote starter. Check with your local best buy to determine if your vehicles factory key is compatible with the remote start function. QuestionMy orig question was "does this remote starter unlock your doors too?" Someone answered yes if I get the upgraded remote. But specs for Model RS1B-DC3 say yes for Keyless Entry and nowhere does it say anything about upgrading. Does anyone really know? :)

- Answer the only way you can tell is go to best buy .com go to car starters pick the one you want it should ask you for the year , model of car and a few other questions after you plug that in hit search to see if it's compatible to your car that,s what i did

- Answer If you lost the remote you can still start the car normally but you have to get another remote to start it from a distance.
