“are 2 keys required to install the starter? I only have one key because that's all they gave me when I was at the dealership but when I went to get it installed the tech told me I need to have two keys or I can't get it installed”

I am not sure due to the fact my car had two keys. I will say we were told we had to provide the original car key that was the only way to program the system properly.
