A:AnswerI have the same problem with the remote in my pocket starting/unlocking my vehicle. I understand the buttons need for sensitivity but these are way too sensitive. I have the two way remote system in one of my other vehicles and oddly enough, do not seem to run into that problem. I am in the process of upgrading my oneway system to a two-way system. I am doing it more so for the "confirmation" aspect but now that I read your question, it is also going to be an added benefit. Not having my vehicle performing tricks without my knowledge. Other than that, I absolutely am totally satisfied with the system. The convenience of getting into a pre heated/cooled vehicle is unbelievable!!!
P.S. both of my vehicles are Toyota's. Tundra/4Runner
A:AnswerIt works with my 2009 Toyota Yaris, I upgraded from a one way key fob to a two way, I installed it myself, just swapped out the one way antenna with the new two way antenna. Will work on your car if you have the one way remote installed and just looking to upgrade.
A:AnswerThis will work with most any vehicle as long as you have the actual module installed in the vehicle. This is just a key fob or remote control if you will. It is not actually the whole unit.
A:AnswerI suggest to call in or go in to Best Buy and speak to the auto tech.
They will give you an install price and a breakdown.
They will make sure to get all the products you need and fully answer your questions.
A:AnswerThis upgrade two way switch I installed myself, swapped out the one way switch that came with my remote, and reprogramed the remote to work with the new switch, if you have a Best Buy remote installed on your car, this will work. went from 1000 ft range to a 3000 ft range.
