Two way means the remote will also receive a signal from the car, so you can confirm the car is running by looking at the remote. Be sure to wait for for a sale. This kit is/was on sale for two-hundred-fifty, including installation. It is a solid deal at two-fifty considering it pays for both the kit and installation labor by Best Buy. The regular four-fifty price is outrageous.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2 way remote means two-way communication. When you push a function on a 2 way remote it sends a signal to your car to perform an action. Then the remote will receives a signal back with an audible tone or flash led lights to confirm the car has performed that action. Like unlocking the doors or starting up the car. With a 1 way remote, you will not receive any confirmation. I'm guessing that's why it's more expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Two way means after you send the command for the remote start you will receive a confirmation that the car actually started. The remote will tell you if the car started or the command failed. With one way you can only send the command but won't receive any indication of the car starting.
