I have a 2004 Toyota Avalon which starts with turn key. After installing this starter, do i need to put the key in after getting into the car to get it going? how does it work with cars with an old fashioned key? Thanks in advance. null

Yes, you still need to put the key in, but don’t press the brake before you put it in, otherwise it’s gonna turn off. And only turn your key like two turns not all the way like u used to do it before, because your engine it’s on already. Hope it make sense.
