• This is only a remote starter. There is an alarm system available as an add-on for this model.

• This doesn’t have an alarm built in, but if you step on the brake it will shut off. Without the key in the ignition and turn it two clicks, the car will shut off

• If your car has a factory alarm, then it ties into it. I have purchased three of these and two of the three I added the siren upgrade at time of upgrade as the factory alarm system was old and weak. I recommend just buying the remote start and when you go to your scheduled install, ask the install tech if you will need the siren/alarm upgrade.
