A:AnswerI have bought several of these things over the past years for different vehicles and the usually had me pay an extra 10-20 bucks for a bypass switch. But the last one I bought just last week for a 2019 Honda Accord had me enter my car information up front when I purchased the thing and it told me everything I needed to purchase in advance so there was not a surprise. I still believe that I did have to buy one for 10$ but at least I knew beforehand. Put it in your cart and fill out your car info and they will let you know. It is a great remote start tho. I really like the 2 way feature that lets you know your car is running.
A:AnswerStill no reply here from the maker of this overprices remote stater! The installation dept. at my local Best Buy in Salem, NH never even answered their phone so I could get their answer on this! After I ordered this in late Oct., it was delivered over two weeks later with minimal instructions and documentation. It did not even have a user Operations Manual that described the two remote controls and how to use them! After a month of the maker's call line assistants telling to just use their online vehicle guide, one person was finally helpful enough to take the time to check on my hybrid model Honda. He determined that this expensive system did not work with ANY hybrid caatrs! One would think that the maker and Best Buy could add this to the Product Description and the vehicle search listings!!!
What a needless WASTE of my time! It was returned to Best Buy.
