A:Answer I had this installed on a Ford Ranger with automatic. However, I also have a manual trans Dodge that I inquired about. From what the installer tech told me, a remote start can be installed on manual trans vehicles. However, additional parts, time and labor ($$$$) will be needed. Also, other preconditions would have to be set in order for the remote start to function plus the tranny would have to be left in neutral. Therefore, certain situations like parking on hills would be done at your own risk. Especially with any kind of load or a trailer.
You would have to check with the store to see if the remote start is even available for you specific vehicle though.
