“Is it possible to use the mic while the headset’s plugged into my pc’s headphone Jack?? I’ve only been able to use it while plugged into the usb dongle, but was wondering if it’s possible to use the mic without the dongle.”

I think this depends on the laptop. My wife said she needed an adapter but her computer does not have the "headset" jack. My computer does have the headset/headphone jack which works with this headset. My wife said she likes that you can remove the microphone (it is detachable).
