Can it work with a LGA1151 (300 Series) null

Yes. My Hydro H60 is cooling my Core i7 8700.

This cooler will work with all versions of the 115x socket, including 1156, 1155, 1150, and the latter 1151. All these 115x sockets have the same mounting hole layout. In addition to that, these mainstream 115x processors are all the same physical size. What sets 1156, 1155, 1150, and 1151 apart is the pin count, and there are notches on the socket that would prevent you from placing an 1155 CPU on to an 1150, 1156, or 1151 motherboard. Al least Intel made sure your old cooler is backwards and forwards compatible. Final note. I had an older H115i that I had on a 2011-v3, 1151, 1150, 1155, and then back to an 1151 board.

It will work with an LGA1151. Make sure that you case is large enough to support it and that you have an appropriate location to mount the fan.
