Yes, it does. Just leave the plastic on until you are ready to place the cooling element on the CPU. The thermal compound is high quality and it is not recommended that you replace it with other thermal compounds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. I almost missed it. It is a perfect grey circle. I still added a tiny bit of my own though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The heatsink platform has thermal compound pre-applied. There is a plastic dust-cover on the component covering the thermal compound that is recommended be left on while you're testing fitment in your chassis. The best option if you can do it, is to get the radiator shroud and fans mounted first, and then mount the heatsink platform to the motherboard last to avoid having to re-apply it and affecting the thermal compound application.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does have some pre-applied.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does, though a little more might not be bad either!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does but spring for artic silver five or newer, it is the trusted product of most builders it has superior heat transfer properties a tube was ten bucks the last time I bought some. Just be careful removing the preapplied stuff use electronics cleaner and a soft cloth and keep your bare fingers off the copper plate. Scratches and corrosion from your skin oils will affect heat transfer. Put a tiny drop about the size of a pin head on the cpu and use an old credit card to spread it around the cpu, you want it smooth no bare spots and if you get any off the top of the cpu and on the edge use a q-tip to wipe it off so it doesn't get on the cpu socket or something around it and possibly cause an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yest but I removed it and bought NEW thermal compound so I could adequately coat the contacts. I suggest you do this too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i dont recall any. if anything, it had a small layer the exact footprint of the CPU, but more is always better. thermal compound is cheap. hardware is not.
