hi there. i know you asked this months ago but the metal pieces on the backplate are actually adjustable. this was the only issue i encountered during this build. i was very determined to make the backplate fit my motherboard and then i realized they were moveable with a bit of force.

The retention brackets standoff points can slide inwards towards the center to fit 115X sockets. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found that I had a similar problem, but you can slide the screws a little bit up and down the slot to make them fit. After I did that, it fit perfectly!
