The brown switches would be the quietest although still make a little noise. Also consider the speed switches while being a little louder also are extremely sensitive. The actuation length is 1.2 mm where a normal switch is 2 mm. If you will be typing quite a bit I would definitely suggest the brown switches. Those are the ones I chose on my k95 platinum and could not be happier
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Red Switches are the Quietest
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Browns are the quietest on this model. I think they have a different model that have "silent" switches but I have never used them. I can tell you this keyboard isn't too loud and is quieter than my last brown switch keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the K 95 RGB Brown and I feel actually that it's too quiet for me. I also have a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate and the clicking is louder and more to what I like. I think if you're planning to do a lot of typing, this keyboard should be fine for you. I'm thinking about taking it back to see if I can get a similar Corsair keyboard that has louder clicking since that is what I like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The MX speed are more quiet than the MX Browns. Although, if you do a lot of typing the MX Brown's have the perfect feel for that. Highly recommend the MX Browns for typing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I've seen in the industry standards, your Cherry MX Blue and Brown would be the loudest, with your MX Red being quieter. However, this is relative to an individual, and there are benefits/drawbacks to the keypress timing, etc. between the different switches. I honestly recommend you try the various types out and see what works for you. Also - be careful between keyboard manufacturers...some of them like to call "their" switches different things than the industry "standard", thus confusing the customer even more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I watched some reviews on youtube some say red switch is the quietest and some say brown switch is the quietest. But i not sure which one as i have only brown switch. To me it is quiet if you dont type much or type like an essay or keep typing then it is okay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The silver speed switches are probably the quietest but they have a shorter actuation travel and are more designed for gamers. The browns can be a little loud in a office setting but they are better for typists and the sound can be muffled with o-rings
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not a quiet keyboard, if that's what you're after, this isn't the keyboard for you.
