Asked by EduardoT.
- A:Answer You need to check your system settings to see if you need ddr4 ram or ddr5. This product is ddr5. The difference is the pins and spacing where it connects. So you have to have the right one.

Q: QuestionThere is a version number listed on my motherboard's manufacturer's authorization list after the noted model number of the ram. CMT32GX5M2E6000C36 ver 3.43.02. This version number is labeled on the ram but not on Corsaire's or it's dealers' site. ?

On asus QVL list this Ram shows up CMH32GX5M2E6000C36 but it shows up like this CMH32GX5M2E6000C36 (ver 3.43.02) This is from the Corsair website: ""Our DDR3 / DDR4 / DDR5 kits use the following version numbers: V3.XX: Micron-based ICs V4.XX: Samsung-based ICs V5.XX: Hynix-based ICs "" I have the box, but there is no version number sticker on the box sooooooooooo how do you figure out what version number this ram is?
