“Does anyone know how long you can wear these before they start to get uncomfortable?”

It depends on your head shape honestly. For me it takes about 2 hours before they become uncomfortable. That can be remedied with some adhesive headband pads (Dekoni Nuggets). I can wear them for many many hours with no noticable discomfort after that addition to these.

The top head cushion is average, so if your head is like mine, (a bit sensitive to object pressure) it might hurt a little after a few hours. I move it around a little, so the minor discomfort is not a deal breaker for me. If you want more top head comfort, I would recommend a headset with an adjustable strap that can sit on top of your head and gives ur head room and distance from the plastic parts. If you don’t wear glasses, the ear part is pretty comfy. I bought this headset for the look and sound/mic quality. Battery charge only last roughly 7 hrs for me.
