“i just bought these today to use temporary with my macbook pro until i build my pc, but when i plugged everything in and turned them on they said they were connected but no sound was coming from head set. please help”

You have to select them as the default audio output device.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure that your Mac has selected your headset as its default sound device. Second, this headset has a trick to it - the on/off switch must be pressed correctly for it to work, and there is a possibility that incorrectly pressing the on/off switch will send the headset into bootloader mode. It will not work until you place it back into the correct operating mode. if you downloaded the corsair app there is a procedure there to fix that issue. Good luck!
