Yes, this one is connected to a water supply line and does shut off whenever it detects the bin is full and turns back on when the ice starts going low. This unit does not keep the ice frozen though, as there is no cooling unit for the inside.. The ice will melt and as long as you keep the power on, it will continuously make ice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will need to connect a water supply line to it. There is no drain pump, it's only gravity drain (or purchase external drain pump). Ours does keep ice without running too much. There is a temp sensor at the top of the ice (when full) as long as there is ice on that sensor, it will shut off. When it melts and goes below the sensor, it will start making ice again.
