Worked for two months and now something broke internally. Now being told it’s NOT covered by My Total Best Buy Membership… of course not…

We purchased this ice maker and 13 days later it started making a grinding noise and we noticed the compressor was not cooling and it stopped making ice. Best Buy was super helpful and immediately replaced it with the same model. We had that one for three weeks and it shut itself off and gave us the error code for a water flow issue. We had the water flow tested and confirmed the water was working properly, yet the unit would not make ice. Again, Best Buy was super helpful and offered a replacement, but we chose to get our money back.

The machine makes plenty of small nugget ice which is great. It's not as small as Chick fil A or Sonic's ice but overall not bad. Now to the bad part on why I rated this unit so low. It's loud.. It sounds like an elephant at times and is pretty loud and embarrassing when you have guests over. And for the price you pay for this.. Secondly, I've had this unit for a little more than a year and it's already leaking water from somewhere.. To the point where it cannot make ice...

Bought it made ice for a week and died. Returned it for new one that never made 1 cube nugget of ice. Tech support is absolutely terrible taking days to get back through email and they just ask the same questions over and over and seem to have trouble verifying the purchase everytime. Compressors were obviously low or out of gas (i do commercial refrigeration). This product is not the quality i normally see at best buy please avoid.

We've had this ice maker for a year and it did work well for the first 6 months. Didn't realize when we purchased it, there was not drain pump included. Had to purchase external drain pump. After 6mos, the ice maker started making a loud knocking noise. Not really that huge of a deal because it still made ice but the knock is so violent, that the water reservoir door slides up slightly each time and after about 3-4hrs of the knocking, the door starts leaking. So now the ice maker is constantly running along with the drain pump. Had a professional take a look and he suggested to replace the ice making auger which was costly. I'm now out of warranty and stuck with this loud, leaky, piece of crap. Avoid purchasing this one and ones similar to it, poor design.

I was so excited about this ice maker…. But upon arrival and installation, the unit did not work. Hoping it will be made right with the service team

Makes fabulously shaped and efficient ice. Installation is straightforward and simply. The motor and fan is a bit louder than I had anticipated, but not too loud.

machine is working great and the ice is exactly what type we wanted . machine is quite as well
