• In the specifications section of the item, you are right. It says "other". But if you look in the overview section under features, it explains that they are ceramic coated stainless steel. Hope this helps.

• As stated on the box: “High-Quality Stainless Steel Blades” (Black Color as well as the Multi-Colored ones. I purchased both.)
