No, there is not a defrost option on this Cuisinart. Don't know the difference between Breville and Cuisinart ovens. Yes, Pyrex and Corning ware can be used. It is a great warm, broil/broil convection, toaster, bake/bake convection, and air fryer machine. Glad I bought it.
