“I have never seen a coffee maker that doesn't show the water level. Am I missing something?”

• You have to check the water level by looking down inside from the top. There are "steps" inside that show the level of the water. I have no idea why they wouldn't put a viewing window on the of outside it...

• Not water level. Quantity of cups is what it shows.

• There are water level markings inside the compartment where you pour the water in before brewing.

• There is no external water level you can see, but when you lift the top there is a step gage that shows how much water is in it.

• There is a water level scale on the inside of the water compartment but it is somewhat hard to use. The best was to make a specific amount of coffee is to fill the carafe with water and use the water level marks on the carafe as the guide. Then dump the premeasured water from the carafe into the coffee maker.
