Yes. They are definitely replaceable. Certainly available online and maybe even from Best Buy? (Google is your friend!) All you need is the battery model information. I have replaced batteries in various models in the past. However the backup modules themselves do not last forever (including their surge protection). At some point it is better to replace the whole unit than just the battery.
